Christopher Holt

Christopher Holt is an entre­pren­eur based in St. Louis, Missouri, and the Founder and CEO of TechArtista, a diverse ecosys­tem of co-working spaces for creat­ives, busi­ness profes­sion­als and non-profit organ­isa­tions. Launched in 2014, TechArtista has grown to multiple loca­tions across the city — includ­ing the Central West End, Downtown and University City — and is the only co-working company in St. Louis offer­ing univer­sal access to multiple loca­tions city­wide. Raised in Hong Kong and educated in chem­ical engin­eer­ing at Washington University in St. Louis, he helped found TechArtista after working on two busi­nesses as an under­gradu­ate, to recre­ate the support­ive, creat­ive network he had enjoyed at univer­sity.

Since May 2024 he has been Chief Operating Officer of Ascend Venture Capital, a St. Louis venture fund he first suppor­ted as a Founding Advisor, where he helps build and manage the team as the firm raises its US$50 million Fund IV. In 2022 he founded the TechArtista Foundation, a non-profit that supports aware­ness of and invest­ment in the arts and entre­pren­eur­ship in St. Louis; its flag­ship programme is St. Louis Startup Week, an annual gath­er­ing of entre­pren­eurs, investors and community leaders. He is also Co-founder and Managing Partner of Lab Falcon, a labor­at­ory-supplies busi­ness selling high-volume consum­ables directly to labor­at­or­ies, and the owner of Trust, a St. Louis cock­tail bar.
